Champagne Sisters

The east coast was hit with a great white winter blizzard yesterday. NYC was out of commission, the city was dead, the cabies were all off duty, cars and cabs stuck everywhere, white out conditions, Alex and I went for a winter wonderland  adventure in his Escalade which ate up all the snow What a night in New York, it was gorgeous, peaceful and my fave of all winter wonderland We stopped by Central Park, Columbus Circle, Times Square, Washington Square and the Hudson Hotel. What a great way to spend the snowy evening!

Memories from my amazingly insane last couple of months! Visitors staying with me 6 out of 8 weeks. The start of Fashion School in Sept and finally a new job!  And of course all my fabulous times with my New Yorkers!There is never a dull moment in this crazy city I call “home”

I had the BEST time ever while in the Cayman Islands for 9 days, the countdown is on until my return in December for 2 weeks and New years!

I’m still saddened by the passing of such a young talented individual. Especially since a relapse in a drug addiction was the cause of death, so unnecessary so terribly sad. It creeps me out slightly to know I was in his building while he was either overdosing or had already passed. I was planning on moving into the building just down the street from my current NY apartment in January, however with such sad memories I am thinking of finding myself somewhere else.

RIP DJ AM. May the music live on.

I am in heaven, having the time of my life, if it was not for school in NY. I would give up my American life and live in paradise!

I’m off to the Cayman Islands today to visit a dear friend of mine. Will report back with all the glamorous adventures we endure!

I was in Toronto for two weeks and had the BEST time ever with my best freinds and family. I miss them and my puppies all dearly. Some memories from a great two week visit with some of the most wonderful people in my life!

While most peoples main means of communication is texting, bbming, e-mails. This video shows us what we tend to be oblivious to, but is the realistic truth.

Toronto got hit by a massive storm this evening, along with serious lightning, thunder and blinding rain came tornado’s in and around the city. The prominent damage happened outside the city devastating areas. Leaving many homeless, but thank gosh only one fatality as of yet. Throughout Toronto streets were severely flooded, trees toppled, cars flipped and debris scattered throughout the city. Approximately 69,000 residents are without power and Vaughan area has been declared a ’state of emergency’.

I was at Pearson airport about to fly back to NYC, when the storm started. I am thankful I was not in the air at the time of the disastrous storm, and my flight was canceled and re-scheduled for tomorrow am.

This video shows the funnel clouds swooping through downtown Toronto, everyone I have spoken with has said they have never seen such a storm hit the Toronto area, and lets hope one does not hit again.

My thoughts go out to all the people who have had their property damaged or destroyed.

In Happy and exciting news I am now enrolled in the Fashion Institute of New York, for Fashion Styling and Wardrobe Technique. This will consume the next two years of my life, but I will walk away with two degrees and a career in the film and entertainment world full of excitement, experiences and travel. I’ve decided to take after my father but stay away from the cinematography and go in wardrobe. I am so excited to know what the next two years and future brings for me. Bye bye social life, hello school, internship and job and the best part a career that I will LOVE!!
